Each part of the guided reading lesson is clear and focused. I especially like the addition of a Close Reading with text-dependent questions. I think anyone from a first-year teacher to a veteran could easily use the lessons in guided reading.
The books are accessible enough that even my struggling readers can make it through, giving them an amazing sense of accomplishment not available with a traditional, thick textbook.
I love the text-dependent questions for close reading in the lesson plans. They are a huge time saver for me!
